CHIOPT exhibited at VISION 2026 in Stuttgart from October 6 to 8, at Hall 10, Booth 10G30.1. Over three days our team ran live demonstrations of liquid, 360° imaging and auto-focus lenses, and met machine vision engineers from around the world. This recap is for everyone who could not attend, and for anyone who wants to revisit what they saw.

Where was CHIOPT at VISION 2026?
CHIOPT (Hunan Chiopt Optical Technology Co., Ltd.) exhibited at Messe Stuttgart in Germany from October 6 to 8, 2026, in Hall 10, Booth 10G30.1. VISION is an international trade fair for machine vision, and the European machine vision sector it serves is represented by the European Machine Vision Association.
Our booth sat on a busy Hall 10 aisle, with steady visitor traffic across all three days and conversations that regularly ran past the scheduled meeting slots. CHIOPT is an industrial lens manufacturer working across the full path from optical design to volume manufacturing.

What did CHIOPT demonstrate at VISION 2026?
CHIOPT ran live demonstrations of four lens families, each mounted on a working imaging station rather than displayed behind glass, so visitors could watch the optics image real parts and compare the output on screen. The table below summarises what each family does and the specifications we can confirm.
| Product family | What it does | Confirmed specification |
|---|
| LIQUID LENS | Liquid lens control for precise focusing, with millisecond-level focusing speed | Focal length range: 8–16 mm; supports 2/3" sensors; theoretical operating cycle up to 1 billion times |
| 360° IMAGING OUTER SURFACE LENS | Enables 360° side-view imaging of small objects | Working distance: 5.13–65.13 mm; measures outer walls of objects as small as 4.5 mm |
| 360° IMAGING LENS (EIGHT MIRRORS) | Captures inner and outer walls simultaneously in one shot | 45° wide-angle imaging, capturing 8 side-view perspectives in a single exposure |
| AUTO-FOCUS LENS | Stable auto-focus performance with RS232 communication | Focal length range: 8–50 mm; supports 2/3" and 1.1" sensors; precision within ±0.001°; response < 1 ms |

What applications were visitors asking about?
Conversations at the booth kept returning to three application areas. The first was outer-wall inspection of small cylindrical parts — pharmaceutical containers, plastic caps, preforms, bottle necks, screws and other threaded components, plus cylindrical plastics, hardware, ceramics and glass.
The second was high-mix inspection where the working distance changes from part to part. Here the liquid lens and auto-focus families drew the most questions, because both are designed for fast refocusing instead of a fixed mechanical setup. Both sit inside the wider industrial lens range that CHIOPT builds around.
The third was semiconductor and electronics inspection. Our 65MP TELECENTRIC LENS was developed for semiconductor precision inspection, reaching a maximum image size of φ44 and suited to 3.2 μm pixels. The 16K5μ LINE SCAN TELECENTRIC LENS is applied to PCB inspection and semiconductor mask inspection.

Thank you, Stuttgart — and what comes next?
Thank you to everyone who stopped by Booth 10G30.1, shared an application, or compared notes on the industry. Trade fairs are not only about showcasing products — they are also about meeting people, listening to the market, and building long-term partnerships.
If the show raised an imaging question you would like to follow up on, please share your sensor size and working distance so that we can recommend a suitable lens, or send sample images and we will help evaluate the most suitable imaging setup — including custom optical solutions where a catalogue lens does not fit. You can reach the team at globalops@chiopt.com.
Key takeaways
CHIOPT exhibited at VISION 2026 in Stuttgart from October 6 to 8, 2026, at Hall 10, Booth 10G30.1.
Four lens families ran live demonstrations: LIQUID LENS, 360° IMAGING OUTER SURFACE LENS, 360° IMAGING LENS (EIGHT MIRRORS), and AUTO-FOCUS LENS.
Visitor conversations clustered around small cylindrical part inspection, high-mix setups with varying working distance, and semiconductor inspection.
Follow-up is open: share your sensor size, working distance and application, and our team will recommend a suitable lens.
